Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport to Ürgüp Transfer

The transfer from Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) to Ürgüp covers approximately 50 km and normally takes 50–55 minutes. From the airport near Tuzköy, the journey heads toward Gülşehir using the airport access road and D765, continues through the Nevşehir corridor and then follows the D302 Nevşehir–Ürgüp road toward Cappadocia. D302 is one of the region's principal tourism roads and connects Nevşehir with Uçhisar, Göreme, Ortahisar and Ürgüp. Ürgüp has a different character from Göreme, combining traditional stone houses, cave hotels and a larger town centre with restaurants and local services. Important landmarks include Temenni Hill, Üç Güzeller (Three Beauties), Turasan wine area, historic stone neighbourhoods and nearby Mustafapaşa, while Cappadocia's valleys and rock formations surround the district. Ürgüp is one of the recognised tourism districts within the official Cappadocia area. Normal driving time is around 50–55 minutes, but peak tourism periods and traffic through Nevşehir or the Cappadocia sightseeing corridor can add 10–20 minutes. In winter, occasional snow, frost or fog across the elevated Central Anatolian roads can also increase transfer time.
